After battling poverty first hand, I gained an interest in community outreach and took initiative. I was not admitted into the school system until the age of 9 years old. I battled homelessness from birth until the age of 7 and was ward of the state until the age of 18. While attending Georgia State University with a bachelors in Criminal Justice, I perused my interest in being coming the CEO of Empowered Beauty Incorporated. After graduating from Georgia State University, I became a 7th grade math teacher and in the process of obtaining my masters degree in secondary education.

About

Empowered Beauty Incorporated objectives are to implement and empower God’s work into low-socioeconomic communities in Atlanta that battle poverty. We walk with a mission of inspiring millennials to join task forces in the fight against hardship within their communities. Empowered Beauty’s members are composed of millennials across the United States that engage in constructive events to gain support with shining light on Gods work. We set our vision to provide for millennials that have high demands for higher education, nourishment, health, and social community.

We take initiative to implement our work in the community by hosting events in the City of Atlanta. Some of our projects include food drives which include meals that are prepared by Chefs to feed homeless individuals and families in our community. Our most victorious project occurred in 2021 in which we collected a total of 400 donated garments to clothe adults and children in Woodruff Park. Since 2019, we have expanded our movement by distributing over 200 book bags for children and adults. Our most sacred event is Valentine’s Day because this day is to celebrate love. February 14, 2022 we celebrated our love for low-socioeconomic communities by baking over 600 cookies, brownies, and cupcakes. We dispensed our pastries to those around Atlanta which included affirmations that our members hold dear. Not only did we provide pastries, motivational words, but clothes and chicken noodle soup that was prepared by the hands of our Chef.
